There are 8 horses & ponies on the farm – they are:  Kitty (dark bay pony), Jasmine (grey pony), Tonto (skewbald pony), Doring (dappled grey horse), Snowy (grey horse), Abby (dark bay horse), Sparky (bright bay pony) and Monty (skewbald pony).  The horses are a constant source of delight to the children who attend our Saturday morning church events and where possible we involve the horses as a therapeutic activity for the children.  The head of our horse team has recently attended a three week introductory course in stable management, general horse care and maintenance, riding and medical care.  It has been a privilege to see the growing interest from the community and we are proud to have four full time employees who have been trained to care for the horses.  Working with the horses and learning the art of riding is adding a flavour to their lives that previously would have remained outside of their scope of experience.  We are proud to have horses on our farm.
